Music: Gillishow - Mama, An Inspiring Song, Celebrating African Women

Gillyshow is a Cameroonian born Afropop artist who hails from Jakiri Sub Division in the North West Region of Cameroon. Born as Ngalim Gilbert Dzekameliv on the 11th of April 1991, 6th Child in a family of seven.
His love for music began very early in life as his father was an active participant in their local Traditional Music scene. After acquiring Advance Level Certificate Gillyshow battled for a while in pursuit of a job and finally settled in Buea to pursue a University degree.
While he continued battling with studies and the hardships of moving to a new town. This drew him closer to his childhood dream of doing music as he was fun of lip synking a number songs from inspiring artists such as Michael Jackson, Akon, Usher, P Square and many other artists.
Encouraged by close friends like Uncle Emma,  Gillyshow visited a number of studios in Buea but coulden't afford to pay for a single sound until after hooking up with friends like RaulKay came up with a first release song titled "Mama" which was great welcomed by a cross section of lovers of afropop.
The Song is a tribute, to the African Woman and the challenges she faces to ensure the survival of her offspring.
